Washington DOT Releases PGSuper 1.5

October 1, 2004 - PGSuper version 1.5 is released. After several minor releases, Rick Brice at WSDOT and Richard Pickings at BridgeSight Software have combined forces to deliver a major upgrade to PGSuper.
PGSuper is an MFC-based, Windows program for the design of precast girder bridges based on the AASHTO LRFD Specifications.PGSuper has a highly interactive graphical user interface that is designed for use in a production-engineering environment. Since its implementation, Washington State Department of Transportation engineers have reduced the time to design a bridge superstructure from ten days using previous methods to under five hours with PGSuper. This mature program is currently in its second major release with current development toward Version 2.0, which will include major features such as whole-bridge modeling, non-composite sections, and debonding..
